Q: Is it required to fill out the PDF or online donation form regardless of what type of donation?

A: Yes, please always fill out the form for each donation to ensure we have the correct contact and donation information. It can help us run your donation more efficiently.

Q: When can I expect to receive the tax-deductible document (tax receipt) after my donation is granted?

A: Please allow 3 to 4 weeks to send out the Thank you Letter with the tax receipt.

Q: What is our tax ID number?

A: Our tax id number is 83-0689060. NTHUNA Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt organization.

Q: How often does the Foundation make grants each year?
A: The Foundation makes grants twice a year.

Q: Where can I see the bank/account information for "bank wire transfer"?

Q: I'm trying to make an online donation on the NTHU-NA Foundation site. I plan to use Zelle. How do I add NTHU-NA Foundation to my Zelle recipient list? What name/email address should I use?

A: Please ask your bank or financial institution how to add National Tsing-Hua University North America Foundation to your account. Please email us at treasury-admin@nthu-na-foundation.org.

Q: Is my donation tax-deductible?

A: NTHUNA Foundation is a non-profit organization exempt from federal income taxation under IRC 501(c)(3). Donations are tax-deductible for United States citizens.

Q: Is there any processing fee for the donation? If yes, how much it would cost?

A: Please see the processing fee structure below:

    10K or less (<= $10,000): 3%

    Over 10K up to 100K: 2%

    Over 100K: 1% of the excess amount
