Topic: Data-Driven Pandemic Management
Since the outbreak of Covid-19 at the end of 2019, little consolidated effort has been taken to deal with the pandemic worldwide. In this talk, we discuss expected losses from pandemic outbreaks and nuclear power plant accidents, together with environmental pollution. Early simulation of possible scenarios can reduce global losses both health-wise and economically. Reliability assessment is to be learned for dealing with major global disasters.
